BEFORE YOU APPLY
Clear answers, before you take the next step.
Not sure whether the programme is right for you? These are the questions people most often ask before contacting us.
01Is support free?
Some places are fully funded and others are subsidised. Availability depends on the programme and current funding. We will always explain any cost before you decide whether to take part.
02Can I apply for myself?
Yes. You can contact us directly, or a GP, charity, community group, social care professional or other support organisation can make a referral with your consent.
03Who decides whether a programme is suitable?
We begin with a confidential conversation about your needs, the support available and whether the programme is appropriate. Eligibility and funded places vary between programmes.
04Do I have to use every part of the programme?
No. Programmes are explained clearly and participation remains informed and voluntary. We can discuss individual needs, accessibility and any concerns before you begin.
05Is this an emergency or crisis service?
No. FLOAT ONE Wellbeing CIC is not an emergency service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 999 or attend A&E.
06How is my information handled?
We ask you not to send sensitive personal or health information by ordinary email. We explain what information is needed, why it is collected and how it is protected before programme participation.
