ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

Information should be easier to reach and understand.

Last updated: July 2026

FLOAT ONE Wellbeing CIC wants its website and information to be usable by as many people as possible, including disabled people and people using assistive technology.

1. How this site has been designed

The site uses structured headings, descriptive links, visible keyboard focus, alternative text for meaningful images, responsive layouts, high-contrast text and reduced-motion support. Navigation remains available at smaller screen sizes without requiring a hover interaction.

2. Our accessibility target

We aim to work towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. This is a new website and has not yet had a formal independent accessibility audit, so we do not claim full conformance at this stage.

3. Known limitations

We are continuing to test the site across devices, browsers, zoom levels and assistive technologies. Some visual layouts use large editorial typography and photographic backgrounds; we will refine these if they create reading or navigation barriers. External services reached through links are outside our control and may have different accessibility standards.

4. Request information in another way

If website content is difficult to access, contact us and tell us which information you need and what format or communication method would help. We will discuss a reasonable alternative where possible.

5. Report an accessibility problem

Email info@floatone.co.uk or call 07951 946 068. Please include the page or feature causing difficulty, the device or assistive technology used if you are comfortable sharing it, and a safe way to contact you.

6. Review and improvement

Accessibility feedback will be recorded and considered when the site, programme information and participant communications are updated. This statement will be revised after material changes or further testing.
